Inside Bristol and Bath Science Park building

Our programmes are accelerating innovation to develop more sustainable products, services and processes.

The role of innovation

In our Climate Emergency Action Plan, we set ourselves the challenge of becoming net zero carbon by 2030. We are leading a large programme of work to reduce carbon emissions and develop more sustainable ways of doing things. We are collaborating with residents, businesses, academic institutions and research organisations to accelerate innovation that will help us achieve our net zero target, and protect the environment for future generations.
